It’s now confirmed: as widely anticipated, the Reserve Bank has delivered its third interest rate cut of the year, lowering the cash rate target to 3.60 per cent.

At the start of the year, the ASX 200 was just above 8,200 points. Today, it sits 7.9% higher than its opening level and more than 13% above the 7,800-point mark recorded at this time last year.
